Brief summary:
Our project aims to gain insight into opportunities of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration into small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). While AI adoption has surged in larger corporations, SMEs face significant barriers, including resource constraints and regulatory complexities. Our research addresses these challenges by identifying AI use cases tailored to SME-specific workflows and evaluating their business impact. This know how will allow companies, e.g. in the IT, consulting and training industry, to develop products and services which empower SMEs to explore and exploit the full potential of AI, to foster SME innovation this way, and at the same time optimize resource investments and mitigate adoption risks.
