Lower Austria on the Way to the Green Economy
Niederösterreich hat ein Konzept für Green Economy
Lower Austria now has it in black and white thanks to Marco Halbmayr’s master’s thesis conveyed via the “Themenbörse Abschlussarbeiten”: with the Lower Austrian Climate and Energy Roadmap 2030 and the Climate and Energy Program 2021-2025, the Green Economy can be achieved. He recommends: even more awareness for waste separation, waste reduction, use of the enormous savings potential of the circular economy, (monetary) incentives and the Austria-wide legal regulation in the waste issue. Because: the more volumes of separated material systems are available, the better, cheaper and more efficiently they can be recycled.
Green Economy is understood to be a market-based economy oriented towards environmental sustainability, economic profitability and social inclusion.
All the findings and recommendations can be found in the master’s thesis, the topic of which was chosen by Halbmayr, a graduate of the University of Vienna, from the thesis topic exchange: https://www.themenboerse.at/themenmarktplatz/details/DAB137/.
The topic exchanges thesis www.themenboerse.at offers and mediates practical topics from Lower Austria for bachelor, master or diploma theses or dissertations/PhD to students. The service is free of charge for all.
