GFF congratulates the WZP 2022 award winners
Die Wissenschaft Zukunft Preis (WZP) 2022 Preisträger*innen Jakob Tuna, Alina Lenzer, Claudia Kolm und Klemens Kremser mit Landesrat Jochen Danninger (Mitte).
On October 18, the Wissenschaft Zukunft Preis 2022 was presented to four impressive young researchers at the Science Gala in the Grafenegg Auditorium. In addition to the traditional appreciation and recognition prizes, the “Wissenschaft Zukunft Preis (WZP)” for young researchers was awarded in three categories to the following winners:
- Bachelor thesis:
Alina Lenzer: “Determining reactive oxygen species production in mitochondria respiring on succinate” - Master’s thesis/diploma thesis:
Jakob Tuna: “Where to go with logistics? Draft of a sectoral spatial planning program for logistics in Lower Austria” - Dissertation/PhD:
Claudia Kolm: “Development of novel approaches for the molecular detection of health-relevant bacteria in water”
Klemens Kremser: “Urban mining - Potential bioleaching applications for metal recovery from low grade artificial ores”
